i (Dr. Varsha Saxena) have completed BAMS and MS (Ay) Shalya tantra (General surgery) from Rishikul State PG college , Haridwar , Uttarakhand and PhD (Ay) Shalya tantra (General surgery from Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in supervision of renowned Ayurvedic surgeon Prof. Laxman singh and Padam Vibhusan Prof. M. Sahu. Currently i am working as Assistant Professor in Shalya tantra (General surgery) in Uttarakhand Ayurved University (UAU) , Main campus, Harrawala, Dehradun. i am doing clinical practice from last 12 yeras. My specialization is in Anorectal diseases, Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), Leech therapy, Kshar Sutra therapy and general practice.
I also advice Ayurvedic approach to indoor practice in Anorectal diseases, leech therapy , Agni karma and other Ayurvedic surgical procedures.
She got best teacher award in National Sushruta association and Rishikul ratna award by Uttarakhand Ayurveda university (UAU).
She is specelized is specialized to treat all Ayurvedic Surgical diseases like Piles, fistula , Fissure etc. She is specialized for leech therapy in DVT, HAIR Loss , skin problem etc and expert in Marma therapy and Agni karma procedures. She has successfully treted many chronic case of Anorectal diseases, Varicose veins, DVT and pain managment etc.
He has published more than 53 research papers in different international and national journals, 9 chapter in different books.
