As per Ayurveda, agni (digestive fire) plays a very important role in metabolism, proper digestion, and tridoshas in a balanced state. To have a fixed routine for a child that is at proper time sleep and proper time wake up daily to get a sufficient amount of rest.

After three years of age kids can start daily intake of fresh Amalaki. So, one can give homemade Amalaki candy. All the six rasas (sweet, sour, bitter, pungent, salt, astringent) should be part of the diet for daily intake. Intake of rasayanas builds immunity.
